Pourwise
Pourwise is a guided pour-over brewing app that talks to your Bluetooth scale. This page states, plainly, what that does and does not involve.
Pourwise keeps everything it needs locally, on your iPhone:
None of it is copied to a server, because Pourwise doesn't have one.
Bluetooth. Used only to connect to your scale and read live weight during a brew. The connection is direct, device-to-device — no gateway, bridge, or third party sees it.
Pourwise does not request access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
Pourwise does not make network requests during normal use. The only network activity on your device is whatever the App Store itself needs to install or update the app — Pourwise's own code never opens a connection.
No analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no ad networks, no fingerprinting. Pourwise doesn't know you opened the app, and neither do we.
Pourwise doesn't share data with anyone, because it doesn't collect any to share. No third-party libraries in the app transmit data off the device.
Your brew history and recipes stay on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. We can't delete data on your behalf, because we never had a copy of it.
Pourwise is not directed at children under 13 and, per section 01, collects no personal information from any user, of any age.
If this ever changes — say, a future version adds a feature that leaves the device — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
